People Hub Admin Dashboard

Updated 7 July 2026 · 3 min read

The admin dashboard appears on Home (/peoplehub/home) for company administrators and activity managers with management access. It gives a company-level or manager-scoped view of training and compliance activity so teams can spot risk, schedule work, and follow up quickly.

If a user does not have management access, they see the personal home experience instead of the admin dashboard.

What the dashboard is used for

Use the admin dashboard to monitor completion trends, identify overdue work, find users who have requirements but are not yet booked, and move quickly into the operational pages that need action.

  • Track overall training and compliance health

  • Prioritise overdue or high-risk areas

  • Find required learning that has not yet been scheduled

  • Jump directly to activities, people, and expiring items

  • Support weekly operational follow-up for training managers

Company metrics

Typical dashboard panels summarise the current state of training delivery and compliance.

Panel

Purpose

Completion overview

Shows trends in completed versus overdue training

Overdue summary

Highlights the count of overdue tasks across the company or within the manager's scope

Top activity items

Shows courses or sessions with the most learners or the most overdue items

Unbooked required trainings

Shows users who have a required activity but are not yet assigned to an activity item or task

Use these metrics to decide what needs attention first: overdue work, missing bookings, or upcoming renewals.

Unbooked required trainings

This section shows employees who have a Required activity on their profile but are not yet booked onto a course, session, or task. It is especially useful after bulk imports, new role assignments, or updates to required activities.

Typical fix

  1. Open the relevant activity template.

  2. Create an activity item if the training needs scheduled dates, a trainer, or a session.

  3. Assign the relevant users.

  4. Use Create Tasks so the requirement becomes actionable in Q-Hub Tasks.

For Self training, a separate scheduled item may not be required. In that case, creating tasks from the template or assigning required users can be enough, depending on how the activity is configured.

Get Started entry point

Company admins may see a Get Started entry point when the People Hub setup is not yet complete. This helps guide initial configuration so the workspace can begin assigning and tracking training correctly.

Quick navigation

The dashboard is also a launch point into the main operational areas of People Hub.

Destination

Why you would go there

Expiring

Review training or certificates nearing expiry and plan renewals

Activities

Manage templates, courses, sessions, and learner assignments

Open employee profiles and review compliance details

Quick actions in the drawer typically include:

  • New Activity

  • New Skill for admins

  • New Role for admins

Management trainings table

Admins and activity managers can access a management trainings table showing the activities they oversee. This table supports operational follow-up across learners and is commonly used to work through exceptions and incomplete training.

Typical filters include:

  • Status

  • Template

  • Date range

Practical working pattern

  1. Review the high-level metrics on the dashboard.

  2. Check overdue items and unbooked required trainings.

  3. Open the relevant activity, person, or expiring view.

  4. Schedule courses, assign learners, or create tasks.

  5. Repeat regularly as part of training operations.

Activity managers only see data within the scope of activities they manage. To ensure the right data appears, make sure the user is set up as an activity manager, default trainer, or trainer on the relevant activity items where applicable.

Tips

  • Review unbooked required trainings weekly after imports or bulk role changes.

  • Pair dashboard review with the Expiring page to stay ahead of renewals.

  • Use the dashboard as a triage page, then move into Activities or People to resolve issues.
