This video demonstrates three ways to create a register in Register Hub: importing data from an Excel spreadsheet, using a pre-built template, or building one from scratch. It also shows how to add and configure columns, and how to populate and manage data in a live register.

Click on the nine dot icon in the top left hand corner and select Register Hub. First, let's look at how to create a new register using data from an Excel spreadsheet. Click the plus icon and click new register. In the top right hand corner you'll see a button that says Excel. Press that and open the spreadsheet you need to use. As you can see, the column fields are automatically created and the data has been filled in.
To create a new register from a template, click the plus icon, select new register. In the top right hand corner, select template and choose the template you wish to use. This has now created a new register which we can name and then click save.
To create a new register from scratch, click the plus icon, select new register. First we'll give our register a name. In the top right corner, click the green plus icon to add a new column. Select your field type and click on the column to give it a title. We'll just add a second column. Click on the three dots to open the column options. From here you can delete or duplicate a column or access the column settings, which will allow you to add a column description and also change the text alignment. Once you're happy, click save.
Let's now take a look at using a live register. First we'll find the register we've just created. In the bottom right hand corner, click the plus icon to add a new row. We can then go ahead and add a name and select a date. The system automatically saves any changes. Click the three dots in the right hand corner to bring up more options. You can download into an Excel spreadsheet, you can duplicate the register, have a look at the reviews, and also the history.
