KPI Hub - Create a Generic KPI from a Process
Learn how to create a generic KPI in KPI Hub by selecting a process, choosing your visualization type (pie chart, bar chart, line chart, or number), and applying filters to display the data you need.
Transcript
From the menu in the top left hand corner, select KPI Hub. To add a KPI, press the plus button and select New KPI. This now gives you five options, but for this video we're going to cover a generic KPI.
First off, input your title. Next, we can select the Hub where the data is found to be able to create your KPI. For this one, we're going to demonstrate Process, so select the process you wish to use. Then you have the option to make the KPI from either selecting fields from the process or by selecting entries. This builds your KPI based on the top level entry data. We're going to use entries and want entries that are completed or being worked on.
Next, it asks us to pick our KPI type. You have four different options: you have pie chart, bar chart, line chart, or simply show a number from the entries. For this video we'll select pie chart. As you notice in the top right hand corner, it shows us a preview of what each type looks like.
Next, we can use these filters to filter the data that's shown. First option is to select a specific time frame. We can filter by portal spaces. Next one is by assets. Can filter by users or filter by a specific field from the process that you selected at the start. Select whether you would like the KPI to be private or public and check here to show to portal users only the data from portals they have access to.
Once you're done, press Save in the bottom corner. To see your new KPI, click My KPIs from the left hand side menu. And if we scroll down we can see our KPI is now part of this dashboard.
