Click the menu in the top left hand corner and select Asset Hub. This homepage here gives you shortcuts to access important information. Across the top we've got a shortcut to book out an asset. So we simply select the asset that we wish to book out, input your reason for booking, and then simply sign. You can see this now says that the asset has booked out successfully. To book it back in you can select it from here, enter any notes regarding the booking, and simply sign.
Let's take a look at these boxes. Across the top we have the total number of assets that have been registered for your organization. That opens to the standard view by default, however you can organize this by area view and also by table view if you find this easier. This will be covered in more detail in another video. However, across the side here you can see that you can filter by group, location, management status, or profile. If we go back to our sidebar, the next box here gives us the total number of assets that have expired. Next one is total number of tasks that are overdue on all assets. And then we've got these two boxes which show us which assets have tasks that are due this week or this month. And then to the right hand side you'll see a list of all tasks that are due and upcoming for all assets.
Underneath we have a table showing all tasks performed. To view more data behind a table entry, simply click on the bar and it comes up with all the details there. Next is a chart with all assets statuses. Again, we can click on a section to view more details. And lastly is a table shown as planned tasks. Again, we can click into a bar and it will give us more details. Underneath this box will show you all assets that have pre-bookings.
To create a pre-booking click here, choose the asset. You can select whether you'd like this to be a repeat booking, in which case you would toggle this on. Then you can choose your start date, how often the booking should be repeated, so whether it's daily or weekly, and then the time that you wish the booking to start from and then the end time. Next it asks if you'd like to repeat the pre-booking for a number of weeks or occurrences. You can select accordingly, then pick the users who are going to have the asset. So we will choose one person for this video and then provide the reason for the booking. Now underneath this would show any recurring bookings that are existing on this asset. Once you're happy, press done. This will now show our pre-booking. So we've got the asset name, who it was booked by, who it was booked for, and the time it's booked from and booked to.
