Let's take a look at adding an asset management task when we're setting up a new profile. These are tasks like calibration or maintenance or asset due dates. So if we click the green icon we'll select a task. Say for example we want to create a task to carry out a visual inspection.
We'll set this on our schedule. We want this to be completed monthly. There is an option that after the first task, the set defines how often the routine task needs to be completed. So for example you could schedule the next task say 4 days after the task is complete. But for this one we want to carry out our monthly inspection.
Next it asks what days of the month does the task need to be done. So we can either add a day, so for example the first day of every month. But for this example we're going to set it for the first Monday of the month. Then it asks when should the next task be visible in their QHSE workflow. So we'll set this 3 days before and then we'll press done. Now see that the task has now been set up for the first Monday of every month.
Next, if we look at asset status settings, click here to set up when the task is overdue, make the overall asset status overdue also, or we can select when the task is overdue we can make the asset unavailable for booking out. Underneath there is an option to manually map the status of this task to asset statuses. For example, if the task is sent but not started, let's choose for the asset status to show as out for service. If the task is in progress, let's set it to the same, and if the task is overdue, let's set the asset status to show as overdue as well.
Tick this box to send the task to the asset owner as well. Next, tick here if you need to set a planned time and select the number of days that are planned for the task. Then select the priority status. You can have none, low, medium, high, or critical. We'll keep as low for this one.
Add your task description next. Add any attachments that are required. Then we can add our fields to detail specific information that's required. We'll just add a few as an example. There is an option to add a subtask if you need to, or along the bottom here you can use a task template if one has been created.
Then once you're happy, press done and as you can see it has now added our visual inspection management task to the profile.
