Digitization amplifies existing processes rather than fixing broken ones. Before implementing software, define your specific improvement goal—efficiency, data quality, compliance, or audit speed—and then select technology that supports that objective.

One of the biggest misconceptions in quality management is that software alone will fix your operational problems. It won't. #OperationalExcellence #QMS #ContinuousImprovement #QualityAssurance

One of the biggest mistakes I see in organizations is believing that digitizing things is automatically going to make everything better. The reality is that it doesn't. Digitizing doesn't just fix the problem if the problem is the process. What it does is that it amplifies it.

So, before you start looking for your next software solution, I want you to ask yourself these questions. What are you actually trying to improve? Is it efficiency? Is it better data? Is it stronger compliance? Is it a faster audit process? And once you know the goal, then choose the technology to support that goal.

Because great software doesn't fix a process, it amplifies it. But the right process, supported by the right software, makes everything better and can completely transform the way that you work.
