What Is ISO 20121?

ISO 20121:2012 is the international standard for event sustainability management systems. It provides a framework for organisations involved in planning, delivering, and managing events to identify, manage, and reduce the environmental, social, and economic impacts of their activities. The standard was developed in preparation for the London 2012 Olympic Games and has since been adopted by major event organisers worldwide. It uses the same Plan-Do-Check-Act framework and High-Level Structure as other ISO management system standards.
