Qualio describes itself as "the Agentic Compliance Platform for Life Sciences". Q-Hub is a QHSE platform for manufacturers, engineers and testing labs. The right answer depends less on features than on whether your compliance stops at quality.
Qualio is a trademark of its owner. Shown here to identify the product being compared; Q-Hub is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
Read this bit and you may not need the rest of the page.
You make medical devices or pharmaceuticals. You need design controls, 510(k) or MDSAP submissions, and an eQMS your notified body already recognises. Qualio is built for that pathway and Q-Hub is not.
Your compliance covers quality AND health, safety and environment. You are certifying to ISO 9001 alongside ISO 45001 or 14001. You want the price before the sales call, and implementation without a separate fee.
If you need both — a life-sciences eQMS and a full QHSE system — you are looking at two platforms, and you should say so in the evaluation rather than expect either to stretch.
Every row is checkable. Qualio’s column reflects what Qualio publishes on its own site.

Five differences that change the day-to-day, not a feature list.
4 letters of QHSE, one system
Qualio’s published module list has no health and safety module and no environmental module. Run ISO 45001 or ISO 14001 alongside ISO 9001 and that is a second system and two sets of audit evidence.
£85 a month, published
Q-Hub publishes £85, £245 and £530 a month. Qualio’s pricing page says “Request Pricing. Talk to us for a quote.” One of those lets you build a business case without booking a call.
4 weeks to go live, included
Qualio’s pricing page states “Implementation fee applies to all plans.” Ours is included with every subscription — discovery, configuration, data migration and training. Four weeks is standard; complex rollouts run six to eight.
Unlimited support on every plan
Unlimited phone, email and live chat on every plan. No ticket limits, no per-incident charges, and no premium tier to upgrade into when something breaks on a Friday afternoon.
30 days free, no card
A 30-day free trial, no credit card required. Qualio’s pricing page does not list a trial, so evaluating it starts with a conversation.
Qualio publishes no health and safety module. This is what sits in that gap: a near miss captured on a phone, triaged on the safety board, and closed through the same CAPA register as a quality non-conformance.
Three cases where we would tell you to buy Qualio, because a comparison page that never concedes anything is not worth reading.
Qualio lists design controls as a core module and names 510(k), MDSAP, CE and UKCA marking on its homepage. That is a regulatory pathway, not a feature, and Q-Hub does not serve it. Our medical-device work is with manufacturers running ISO 13485 as a quality system, not firms preparing submissions.
If your auditor expects formal computer-system validation, Q-Hub does not claim it. We do not market 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, IQ/OQ/PQ, GAMP 5 or ALCOA+, and we would rather say so here than in week three of an implementation.
Qualio states it serves 500+ companies in 80+ countries. Q-Hub is a UK company with UK-based support, and most of our customers are UK and Ireland manufacturers. If you need follow-the-sun coverage across eight time zones, weigh that honestly.
Set your team size and see the Q-Hub price. Qualio does not publish figures, so nothing on their side is estimated — their column quotes their own pricing page.

Published pricing is not available, so the figure depends on a quote.
Q-Hub figures are our published prices. Qualio does not publish prices, so nothing is estimated on their side — their column quotes their own pricing page, read 2026-09-21.
The implementation the pricing card describes — discovery, configuration, migration and training, included with every subscription.
Both platforms run documents, audits, CAPAs, training, risk and suppliers. On a feature checklist they look close. The difference is scope.
Qualio’s published modules cover the regulated product pathway, and cover it well. They do not include health and safety or environment. Run ISO 45001 or ISO 14001 alongside ISO 9001 and that is a second system, a second supplier, and a reconciliation job every time an auditor asks how an incident led to a corrective action.
Q-Hub was built around all four letters of QHSE, so an audit finding, a near miss and a supplier non-conformance land in one CAPA register.
What a move actually involves, based on how we run every migration.
Documents, training records, asset registers and audit data. Folder structures, metadata and access permissions are mapped with your team rather than flattened into one library. Our implementation team has migrated document libraries with tens of thousands of files.
Most customers run the old and new systems in parallel for two to four weeks before switching off. Nobody is asked to cut over on a Friday and hope.
Q-Hub is configured to match your organisational structure, workflows and approval routes — not the other way around. Your existing document numbering and naming conventions are audited in week one so they carry over.
We have not migrated a Qualio tenant end to end and will not pretend otherwise. Ask us for the specifics of your export format on the call and we will tell you what we know and what we would need to test.
“Qhub provides a visible, intuitive way to manage data and workflows, revolutionising our approach to operations”
“Qhub helps us to... proactively use our QMS... and increase efficiency”
“Really made a difference with providing compliance during audits – both regulatory, customer, and internal.”
“QHub has supported us in achieving a higher compliance rate.”
“We can't believe how fast we were able to get it up and running.”
“Managing NCRs are now so much easier”
“Where was this 2 years ago... we're blown away”
“Qhub has improved our safety management system no end, making it very efficient”
“We use it for as much as possible.”
Q-Hub connects to your existing tools via REST API, webhooks and SSO, with bespoke connectors on request. More integrations coming soon.
Each certification and commitment, with the detail behind it.
It depends what you need. Q-Hub supports ISO 13485 as a quality management system and we work with device manufacturers running it that way. If you need design controls, 510(k) or MDSAP submission support, Qualio is built for that and we are not.
Not for validated GxP environments. We do not claim 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, GAMP 5 validation or IQ/OQ/PQ documentation. If your auditor expects formal computer-system validation, stay with a life-sciences eQMS.
Health, safety and environmental management in the same system as quality. Qualio's published modules cover quality and regulatory; there is no H&S or environmental module listed. If you certify to ISO 45001 or ISO 14001 alongside ISO 9001, Q-Hub keeps that evidence in one place.
Q-Hub publishes its prices: £85, £245 and £530 a month, with Enterprise quoted, and implementation included. Qualio does not publish figures — its pricing page lists Foundation, Growth and Scale tiers and asks you to request a quote, and states that an implementation fee applies to all plans. We cannot tell you what Qualio would charge you; only they can.
Documents, training records, asset registers and audit data all migrate, with folder structures, metadata and permissions mapped rather than flattened. We have not run a Qualio-specific migration end to end, so bring your export format to the call and we will tell you exactly what transfers and what needs checking.
Yes. Q-Hub is built and supported from Caldicot in Wales, and unlimited phone, email and live chat support is included on every plan with no ticket limits or premium tiers.
Yes — the three standards share a harmonised ten-clause structure, which is why BSI, the UK national standards body, runs them as a single integrated management system: “an integrated management system for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001”. Q-Hub runs all three as one audit programme, so a finding closes once against whichever standard it belongs to instead of being re-entered somewhere else. Qualio is built for the regulated product pathway, so health and safety and environment sit outside its published module list entirely.
