Q-Pulse is now marketed as Ideagen Quality Management, and it is a capable enterprise quality platform — document control, audit, risk, training and supplier quality are all there. On capability there is little between us. The difference is what you can find out before you speak to a salesperson.
Read this and you may not need the rest of the page.
You need regulatory intelligence feeds, software validation and assurance, or food safety and supply chain modules. You are a large enterprise with a procurement process that expects a bespoke quote.
You want the price on the website, implementation included rather than quoted, and to be live in about four weeks rather than a quarter.
Your compliance is mostly information security. Both of us are quality-led; an ISMS platform will fit you better.
Every row is checkable. The Ideagen column reflects what they publish on their own quality solutions page. Source: ideagen.com/solutions/quality, read 21 September 2026.

£85 a month, published
No pricing figures appear anywhere on Ideagen’s quality solutions page. Q-Hub publishes £85, £245 and £530 a month. Neither approach is wrong, but only one lets you build a business case on a Tuesday afternoon.
Their quality page makes no statement about implementation or setup fees. Q-Hub includes discovery, configuration, data migration and role-based training with every subscription, with no separate professional-services charge.
Their quality page names quality, health and safety and environmental management, but does not name ISO 9001, ISO 45001 or ISO 14001. Q-Hub is built around all three, with one audit programme and one CAPA register across them.
Their quality page does not name the three standards. This is what naming them means in practice — one audit schedule covering all three, so a finding closes once rather than being re-entered per standard.
Cases where we would tell you to choose them, because a comparison page that never concedes is not worth reading.
Their page names Regulatory intelligence as a capability. Q-Hub does not offer a regulatory feed; you track obligations yourself.
Their page names Software validation and assurance. Q-Hub does not claim formal computer-system validation, and would rather say so here than in week three of an implementation.
Their page names Food safety management and Food supply chain management as modules. Q-Hub does not offer either.
Set your team size and see the Q-Hub price. Ideagen Quality Management (Q-Pulse) does not publish figures, so nothing on their side is estimated — their column quotes their own pricing page.

Not published
Published pricing is not available, so the figure depends on a quote.
Q-Hub figures are our published prices. Ideagen Quality Management (Q-Pulse) does not publish prices, so nothing is estimated on their side — their column quotes their own pricing page, read 2026-09-21.
Ideagen Quality Management, still known to most people as Q-Pulse, is an enterprise quality and compliance platform and a UK one — Nottingham to our Caldicot. It is the incumbent in a lot of quality departments for good reason.
It goes further than Q-Hub on regulatory intelligence, software validation and assurance, and food safety and supply chain. All three are named capabilities that we do not offer at all. For a regulated manufacturer who needs them, that settles it.
What their quality page does not name is ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001. Q-Hub names all three, publishes its price, and includes implementation in the subscription rather than scoping it separately. It is built for mid-market sites rather than enterprise rollouts, which is a narrower job done with less overhead.
What a move actually involves.
Documents, training records, audit history, CAPA records and supplier data, with structures and permissions mapped rather than flattened.
Two to four weeks in parallel is normal before the old system is switched off.
Q-Hub is configured to match your existing document numbering, workflows and approval routes rather than the other way round.
We have not migrated an Ideagen tenant end to end. Bring your export format to the call and we will tell you what we know and what we would need to test.
“Qhub provides a visible, intuitive way to manage data and workflows, revolutionising our approach to operations”
“Qhub helps us to... proactively use our QMS... and increase efficiency”
“Really made a difference with providing compliance during audits – both regulatory, customer, and internal.”
“QHub has supported us in achieving a higher compliance rate.”
“We can't believe how fast we were able to get it up and running.”
“Managing NCRs are now so much easier”
“Where was this 2 years ago... we're blown away”
“Qhub has improved our safety management system no end, making it very efficient”
“We use it for as much as possible.”
Q-Hub connects to your existing tools via REST API, webhooks and SSO, with bespoke connectors on request. More integrations coming soon.
Each certification and commitment, with the detail behind it.
On the core quality system — document control, audits, CAPA, training, risk, suppliers — the two are directly comparable, and their page names all of it. Ideagen adds regulatory intelligence, validation services and food modules that we do not have. What Q-Hub adds is a published price and a four-week implementation.
Ideagen has moved the product under its own name. Their quality solutions page uses "Ideagen Quality Management" throughout; "Q-Pulse" now appears only inside a customer quote. Same product lineage, new name.
They do not publish figures, so we cannot tell you and will not guess. Q-Hub publishes £85, £245 and £530 a month with implementation included.
Yes, alongside ISO 9001, in one system. Ideagen’s quality page names health and safety and environmental management but does not name the standards themselves.
Four weeks is standard, including data migration and role-based training. Larger or more complex rollouts run six to eight.
Yes. Ideagen is headquartered in Nottingham, Q-Hub in Caldicot, Wales. Neither of us wins that row, and the comparison table says so.
Yes — the three standards share a harmonised ten-clause structure, which is why BSI, the UK national standards body, runs them as a single integrated management system: “an integrated management system for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001”. Q-Hub runs all three as one audit programme, so a finding closes once against whichever standard it belongs to instead of being re-entered somewhere else. Ideagen’s quality page does not name the three standards, though that is a statement about their website rather than their capability — worth asking them directly.
All three ISO standards named, the price published, implementation included. See it against your own processes in 30 minutes.
