Q-Hub schedules calibration and maintenance, stores certificates and chases due dates. What it does not do is work orders, preventive-maintenance routing and spare-parts inventory. MasterControl names a Computerized Maintenance Management System for exactly that.

Feature deep-dive
MasterControl is built for life sciences manufacturing, and for that job it is a serious platform. Manufacturing execution, electronic batch records and eDHR are named products, 21 CFR Part 11 compliance is claimed, and equipment calibration and CMMS sit alongside the quality modules.
Their quality page does not name health and safety management or environmental management. Q-Hub names both and runs them in the same system as quality. We do not claim 21 CFR Part 11, we do not offer batch records or manufacturing execution, and we run calibration and maintenance scheduling rather than a full CMMS.
These are different systems for different factories rather than better and worse ones. The practical question is which regulator you answer to. If it is the FDA and you are releasing batches, this comparison should end with MasterControl.
